Blue Flora 20-Piece Setting by notNeutral
First to recommend
Description
I'm moving this weekend, and have been thinking about getting some new place settings to go with the new digs. I really like how these aren't your average plates, but aren't really ostentatious. They're really nice for the spring and summer in light blue.

Good Water Cup
First to recommend
Description
It's a simple idea, but I love the execution. Take the bottom of a plastic soda bottle, and use it as the mold for a cup. The resulting cup seems familiar and still a bit alien. The shape also is a bit reminiscent of a tooth, and the red cross does lend a bit of a medical feel to it, so I concur with the folks at A+R that it's a great bathroom cup.

NEWTON MILK AND SUGAR SET BY TONFISK

Description
What an amazing idea. It's a cream and sugar set where the sugar bowl is cradled above the creamer and held in place with the wonders of physics! It looks like a lot of fun, and such a simple design. How has no one thought of this before? Available with and without the gold plating.

Perch: Vessel: Rabbit

Description
I like a lot of things by Perch, which is a really great small ceramics maker. Yet I'm not sure if I think this concept is really cute, or just a bit weird. It's on the abstract side, with the rabbit outline being on a different plane than the vase, and the painted on cotton tail. The longer I look at it, the more I like it I think. Definitely eye catching though.

Where Are My Leaves and Where Is My Trunk Tea Cup from Bailey Doesn't Bark
First to recommend
Description
What a fun cup! On one side, a very sad tree is all barren, and on the other, it's in full bloom. The whole thing is connected via the trunk running under the bottom of the cup. How clever! And I love the drawing style. Very pen and ink cool.

Platter No.13 from apmDesign

Description
I need to entertain more. Then I'd have an excuse to buy this cool platter. I love the simple design of the tall grass. It's like serving hors d’oeuvres on a great photograph, elegant but unpretentious.

notNeutral - Shanghai City Plate
7 people recommended this item
Description
Really interesting concept. This is the second of their city plate collections, called Culture and Capital(ism) with plates of Washington, DC, Las Vegas, Dubai, and, of course, New Orleans. For New Orleans, they rendered the parts of the city that were flooded in white, with the Mississippi River in blue, and parks in green. A portion of the proceeds will to go rebuilding the parks that were devastated by Huricane Katrina. Really interesting plate, really good cause.

Black Bird on Tree Branch Cup and Saucer from Bailey Doesn't Bark
First to recommend
Description
These guys make the most fun pieces. There's always a bit of interactivity or a bit of a wink in their pieces. In this one, the saucer and the cup become one illustration. Lift the cup, and reveal another bird!

The Sorapot is here! If you haven't been following the process and progress of the Sorapot on NotCot, well, you should have been. This is one seriously cool tea pot. It's like having one giant, beautiful, clear infuser. It's super easy to use, and it's just gorgeous. And it makes the tea steeping gorgeous too. If you're a serious tea lover, you'll love this. Check out the website, www.sorapot.com, for more info. (via NotCot)
