Veruca Salt: I want it now - a list by FancyPants

About this list:

I'm often chastised for being the Veruca of my family... I have a tendency to over-spend, over-want, and over-whine about it... Here is a collection of things that I spy online for ThisNext that I also Truly-Madly-Deeply want to take home for myself. Enjoy. PS- Veruca Salt is the whiny-assed girl in "Willy Wonka"-- you know, "I wan't it nowwww"

Qualifications:

Veruca Salt's slightly more tolerable BFF

For people who like:

  • being spoiled
  • Buying yourself things
  • having too much credit card debt

Handbag Holder

Description

I've seen a few of these online, but this one is by far the prettiest.

I figure if you are going spend more on a handbag than you do on rent (for 6 months) the last thing you want is for it to mingle on the floor with the less affluent bags...

Seriously... I saw this 20/20 thing about the bacteria on the bottom of women's handbags-- disgusting.

If you have ever tried to staple an inch work of TPS reports with some girly Bostitch... you know.

Swinglines are the absolute best staplers you can get... and, I kid you not, are heavy enough to use as a hammer (TRUE STORY) or inflict blunt force trauma...

Get one for your office, and one to share.

Burberry Button-Front Blouse

Description

Sad that at 25, with a nice full-time job, a life and a few dogs I still obsessively watch The Hills.
Even worse-- is when I peruse the job postings in LA on Monster so I can be "besties" with Lo and Lauren. Anyway, Heidi wore this shirt the day she decided to stab Elodie in the back (and I would have too). It's definitely on my Christmas List.

Too awesome. Add a warm liquid and all of my political dreams come true-- in the form of red states turning blue. Even Montana. Even Texas.
