Gumboots aka wellingtons, wellies, topboots, rainboots are simply shoes you wear when there's a chance you might get your feet wet!

Pipduck is a great site for anyone interested in purchasing these shoes as they've got quite an extense online catalogue although I don't know if you can get these patchwork gems online... (via Pipduck)

I love these shoes!!! They are quite 'old school' however they are a sweet and comfortable and look great when worn with pretty stockings or tights. Even adding these shoes when wearing somewhat tight pants can look pretty edgy and show off a more casual look.

Please don't go wearing these with trackie pants or overalls though- you will look like some kind of tap dancer gone wrong!!

I found this pair through the American Apparel website however I have seen them in boutique stores in Australia- I like the black patent leather look however you can get them in many different colours/styles such as khaki, black, white etc..

Aren't these shoes amazing!!!
They look like a pair of clogs with a snout or something! Only available in red these shoes are for the individual that likes to be seen & are sure to be a great conversation starter!

This is for the flip flop or 'thongs' (as Australians like to call it) fans. These are a little different from the regular havaianas as they are made by Kidrobot and you guessed it they Glow-In-The-Dark ! So, if you're a raver or the outdoorsy/camping type or perhaps just want to see where you're feet are then these thongs might just be for you. Oh and they come with a Kidrobot keychain- woo! Cost= $35.00.
