One of my top five favorite movies EVER. I keep waiting for Nicolas Cage to top his performance in this move, and it's been almost 20 years (how is that possible??) and imho he has yet to do it. This movie is so incredibly funny. It's satirical...such a great commentary on the 80's...plus it has an all star cast of great performances to boot. I think this is the Coen Brother's finest moment.
Don't watch Raising Arizona with me, becuase I know the whole thing by heart.

One of Bill Murray's finest performances. Scarlett Johansson is heart-breaking. Lost In Translation is just one of those perfect, quiet films that gets inside of you. I love the visuals, and the tribute to the beauty of Japan. I love love love this movie.

George Clooney, John Tuturro, Tim Blake Nelson and John Goodman are just amazing. I love how the genius Cohen Brothers weave the tale of Homer's Odyssey into this lovely, funny, bizarre Southern American tale. I love love love the Cohen Brothers and this does not disappoint. And of course, you HAVE to get the soundtrack.

I love Will Ferrell. LOVE. And I know it's not super cultured, or refined, but Anchorman is one of my favorite comedies ever. It got panned, but this movie makes me laugh ever. single. time. Christina Applegate is a great straight-woman, and as always Steve Carell is side-splitting hysterical. Hats off to two classic comedic actors Will Ferrell and Steve Carell for going outside their comfort zone and getting nominated for Golden Globes this year.

Words can't describe how much I love this movie. Gwenyth Paltrow makes smoking look like an art form. Anjelica Houston is brilliant, not to mention Gene Hackman. And Alec Baldwin's narration of the movie is one of his finest performances to date.
I never ever ever get tired of seeing this movie.
