Description

Wow. Cool. Neat. A new kind of cool for SLR-type cameras. Only real camera nerds will likely understand the difference between this and a DSLR, but the long and the short of it is that it's supposed to give DSLR quality in a much smaller package.

I think I'm in love.

I don't know if this is a good book on riding a unicycle or not, and I don't care! The title alone makes me want the book, even if I never set butt on a uni, calling the book a "crash course" makes me giggle. I like to giggle.

Once upon a time I wanted a Potato Gun more than any other thing I knew of, and I had one, but I didn't know it was a Potato Gun until much later. After it was broken. When I examined it, after many years, I realized the true purpose of my spud gun. To shoot potato bits. Though I simply was not aware. And then it was too late.

Now? My son has a Potato Gun. And he knows exactly what it is for. And I shall live vicariously through him.

Added bonus? Also shoots apples.

Whirley-Pop Stovetop Popcorn Popper

Description

I just now made some popcorn with this beauty, and it turned out perfectly, just as it does every time. No old maids, no burned edges... just light, fluffy, lovely bowlful of popcorn, again and again and again.

My only complaint about the Whirley-Pop is that it's not exactly simple to get the corn to pour out just so. It tends to be a little awkward. But I'm willing to live with that, so long as the popcorn remains so tremendous.
