Chef's Choice Meat Slicer: 632 International Gourmet with Varitilt
First to recommend
Description
Dearest Chef's Choice Meat Slicer,
I've always known I was attracted to dangerous types. But, you sharp thing you, it's the comfort you bring to my life that has made me cherish you: Each morning when I awake and am greeted by your perfectly sliced cured meats and cheeses I thank my lucky stars for the day we met. It was Christmas, remember? You looked so glamorous in head-to-toe silver, all done up in a red bow and that becoming sheath of butcher paper. When I learned about how practical you were, all easy-clean stainless steel, my interest was piqued. But it wasn't until I learned how, ahem, acrobatic you were (Varitilt! Ooh la la!) that I knew we were meant to be.
You are more than just any old "Chef's Choice," Mr. Meat Slicer, you are my choice, and, for this, I cherish you.
Yours,
Alyson

Description
The cheese that thinks it's a carmel!
The cheese of Norwegian skiers!
The cheese that can be hard enough to eat sliced but soft enough to spread on toast!
It's magically made from goats' milk. It's pronounced "YAY-toast," which is cute. Its tag is "Ski Queen Cheese!"

Humboldt Fog Cheese
6 people recommended this item
Description
Humbolt Fog may be the "it" cheese right now, but its popularity is well deserved. Made from morning milk and evening milk of the same cute little goats (don't ask me which is which, someone explained it to me once but I was all aswoon with the Fog's intoxicatingly creamy texture with the ever-so-slight goat-y bite).
Perfect for b'fast with black coffee. Dreamy with heirloom tomatoes and lots of salt. Always a showstopper when produced for dessert with, say a nice Morbier and something hard, like, say, Mimolette. (via rembrandtflores)
