Description

The first next-gen system to the market still manages to be the most impressive. It's got the best online gaming system, plays HD-DVD movies (with an attachment), and still manages to get exclusive cutting-edge games like Gears of War. This is still my system of choice, even over the Wii and the PS3.

Description

Nintendo's Wii is a hand-waving, arm-swinging, gyration causing sensation. It's a ton of fun to play with, and makes you look like you're at least slightly athletic. Plus, it comes with a Wii Sports disc -- giving you gaming right out of the box.

Description

Sony's giant black monolith has finally arrived, but so far it's been a bit lackluster. Sure, it plays Blu-ray movies, but it doesn't have anything going on in the games department. Give it a year if you want to play on it, but for now it's only good for high def movies.

About this list
It's the big three, Microsoft's Xbox 360, Nintendo's Wii, and Sony's PlayStation 3. Who is gonna win? It'll take some time before we know for sure. Right now, the Xbox 360 is your best bet for gaming, and the Wii is for you if pure fun is your thing.
