Lavender Wedding Toss and Favors

First to recommend

Description

Looking for an alternative to bubbles and afraid people will call you a bird killer if you use rice (even though it's an urban legend!)? I was at wedding recently that tossed lavender. I loved that idea. It smelled good and every bit of lavender I didn't throw I got to take home (talk about awesome). Plus lavender is symbolic for love and devotion. What more do you need in a wedding?

Description

With rice and birdseed being outlawed at some wedding receptions, lavender it appears is the new rice. (Or at least until they find something wrong with it). These lovely lavender sachets make perfect wedding favors, not only do they let your guest shower you with a beautiful scent, they also are perfect for guest to take home.

Elegant Rose Soap Party Favors

Description

The number of weddings I've attending has been increasing exponentially and every person seems determined to have a unique favor that I end up not using. I love the idea of wedding favor soap. Who doesn't love a nice bar of soap? To top it all off these soaps come wrapped in charming sachets that can be used for potpourri when the soap is gone.

What perfect wedding china! Gold and ivory combine in a starburst pattern that is subtle enough it would never take over a table, just contribute to a pretty setting and coordinate with any number of table scenes (navy? yep. silver, of course. white, obviously. and so on).

Kate Crossdye Dupioni Dress

Description

Though I'd heard of it before, it wasn't until last season's season finale of Grey's Anatomy that I really embraced that whole different dresses in the same color theory of bridesmaid dresses. And this dress is not only a good bridesmaid cut, I love its color.

Anastasia Wedding Dress

Description

One of my friends is getting married in October. She picked out her wedding dress today (after a search that was extensive). I ADORE her choice. It's so feminine and lacy. And it has tiers of organza that overlay each other gently. She picked wonderfully.

Description

With an increasing number of my friends getting married, I decided to take a good look at the wedding dresses out there. There are some that are gorgeous and some that aren't and many in between. This dress falls towards the gorgeous side for me, it's a line and has a deep v neckline which is usually flattering to most everyone. It's the beaded lace over the top that I adore most though...well that and the pretty little contrasting belt of smooth satin.

Addie Lynn Dress

Description

As much as I love the dress I just recommended some times it's nice to have a slightly younger looking dress (as long as you are younger ;-) ). This a line dress still has the pretty embellished lace overlay. And it still has a belt, but this one is monotone and emphasizes an empire waist.
