i found this idea on the internet and did this for my boyfriend for our one year anniversary! i got him a betta fish (you can get one at this online store but Petco and PetSmart work fine as well) and a nice tank for the fish. i told him to close his eyes for his surprise and when he opened them, he found the fish and a nice colorful sign i made that said, "you're the only fish in the sea for me!" he absolutely loved it! (note: please do some research on betta fish before buying one. they are not hard to take care of but it's good to have as much information as possible - our fish ended up jumping to his death because we left the top of the tank off!)
