so i almost wore these to a wedding.. i was coerced by more than one person not to. but i have these in black -- and they're freakishly adorable. the grey ones kind of look like house slippers, but the black ones look like something you could wear out to a nice dinner and somehow get away with it. also, overall, these are amazingly comfortable. i'd wear them more often if i wasn't so paranoid about getting dirt all over them.

in person, this dress is absolutely beautiful, with the stitching, detail, and even bright, lovely punchy color. any time i see someone wearing it, i cry and wish for that money tree my mom promised me when i was a kid.

i tried this dress on and instantly i was transformed into a productively adorable member of society. the color is a lot deeper and richer up close, but the crepe fabric is absolutely lovely on a warm day. the skirt falls just where it should, and the every little stitch seems to be perfectly placed. i fell in love with this dress as quickly as i fell out of love with it when i realized the dress cost more than my monthly car payment. maybe one day, dress, maybe one day.
