They may not even be considering that these shoes are vegan, and I hope the company has a policy as far as sweat shops, but anytime I see a company moving forward, I want to encourage them. Urban folk of hip hop culture who want to lessen their impact on the Earth, especially those of us who are vegan,currently have few options when it comes to buying something that is both ethical and the style we feel, so any advances in this area need to be supported and increased!

SPECIALIZED Brand Mountain Bikes

They make excellent bikes -- I've had several, and never rode a bike as tight as a Specialized. As a corporation, they "encourage outdoor lifestyles" and of course bicycle transportation, which benefits all of us, both ecologically and physically. All Specialized riders should press the company to fully embrace green practices throughout their entire corporation.

Not yet completely protected from the State's bulldozers, but provides the "product" and "ecological services" of much needed wildland respite for weary people, as well as youth education and critical refuge for threatened native Southern Tallgrass
Prairie wildlife. The remaining Fort Worth Prairie is one of the nation's most endangered ecosystems, yet has diversity (over 2,000 native species) rivaling that of tropical rainforests.
