Phantom Keystroker V2

2 people recommended this item

Description

The Phantom Keystroker may look like a harmless usb thumb drive, but it's actually a devious contraption of unlimited office-based torture. Simply discreetly attach the Phantom Keystroker to any extra USB port on your victim's computer, no drivers needed.

The Keystroker emulates a keyboard and mouse and periodically makes random mouse movements, toggles caps-lock and types out odd garbage text and phrases. Switches on the side allow you to choose between keyboard garbage typing, caps lock-toggle, annoying mouse movements or all three. An adjustment dial sets the duration between "events". We recommend you don't set it too frequently so as to extend the agony. Your hapless co-worker pal will think his computer has been possessed or infected by a destructive virus. As he writhes in anger and furiously dials tech support you can rest easy with a job well done. (via Think Geek)

Evolve Showerhead

First to recommend

Description

I'm sitting in the kitchen talking to my youngest son (14) while I hear the shower in the background. (I'm thinking the 16 year old son is in the shower) Soon the 16 year old comes up and I discover the youngest is just letting shower heat up....for 20 minutes! I purchased this showerhead for the boys this weekend and it works great! If you multitask while you wait for the shower to get hot? Brush your teeth? Make the bed? Maybe even pick out your clothes or iron a collar? Many of us do—and don’t know that while we’re feeding the dog or grabbing that second cup of coffee, two-and-a-half gallons of hot water per minute are funneling down the drain.

Evolve showerheads stop this wasteful water/energy loss by dropping the flow to a trickle when the water reaches a comfortable 95 degrees. This way your hot water’s no longer running down the drain while you’re away from the shower. When you return you just pull the cord and the water flows at wonderful flow preheated.

Using an evolve showerhead can save a yearly average of 2,700 gallons of water, the fossil-fueled energy it takes to heat it—and up to $75 off your utility bill. (via Evolve Shower Heads)

Many people don't realize that you can engrave on the back of an iPod for free if you order from Apple. I did this a few years back and my wife gets a little reminder that I love her every time she turns over her iPod. (via Apple - iPod)

Wooden LED Clock

34 people recommended this item

Description

You have gorgeous wood floors, heirloom wood furniture - you even have those wooden salad bowls from the 70s - so why not a wood clock? A stroke of designing brilliance, this clock is made of LED lights layered under a wood veneer. When the clock's off, it looks like a minimal decorative object - when the clock's on, the large numbers glow through the wood.
