I dont have the time or money to go to the gym, and I can't afford a personal trainer, but most families have a Playstation 2 or an Xbox. This is a virtual personal trainer that you can workout with in the privacy of your own home.

The workouts vary over time, there are many music selections and scenery choices, and there is even a "meditation garden" for yoga workouts to use as a fun relxing cool down, or low impact, late night stretch.

For $40, isn't it a small price to pay for getting healthy. You'll be surprised how much you like Yourself!Fitness.

I still say its hard to spend $64 on something you will only sweat in, but here it is so can reward yourself for being healthy and working out.

One of these days I will do more than my once-weekly pilates class and feel worthy of these.... one of these days...

There is just no excuse for my sense of humor.

If you don't think this is funny. I really just can't explain it to you.

Made in the 80s at the height of Alyssa Milano's "Who's the Boss?" fame. It was advertised with a "Seen on TV"-style commercial that usually played ad-nauseum around the time I came home from elementary school.

As I recall, it was also supposed to come with a "Swatch-like" Teen Steam Alyssa Milano watch.

Hysterical, nostalgic, classic. This one found on ebay.

Flip Flop Sandal by Reef

Went away for the Labor Day weekend to Fire Island.

I was super-busy all week and basically threw things in a suitcase before I left. I found myself without lots of things that I forgot to pack.

Like decent sunblock and flip flop sandals.

Thankfully I was able to get a pair of Reefs on the island. These were the boys Reefs I got - they were out of girls' styles.

Regardless I was pleasantly surprised and more than happy with my purchase.

I was almost glad I forgot my flip flops becuase it led me to new favorites.

Bosu Balance Trainer Home Version

You would be surprised how good of a core workout it is to stand on the bosu and try to keep balanced.

I want one of these to stand on while watching tv for a great, easy workout at home.

I first used one of these with a trainer at the gym. I couldn't believe how well it worked and how challenging it is.

Its a little pricey at about $100 for the bosu with pump and workout video, but if you hate working out and are looking for something that might be a little different, you might want to give the Bosu a try.
