I travel often an this is the most functional, reliable pieces of luggage I have ever owned. The surface is ballistic nylon which tends to wear well and look good as well. The case itself will expand if necessary for trips where you plan to check luggage and pack for the week. On shorter trips, this bag fits easily in the overhead container on the plane. Lastly, the wheels are sturdy and high quality which is extremely important when navigating large airports with multiple bags. The price tag is expensive but this is the type of luggage that you will own and be proud to have in your closet for ten plus years. I'm sold on Tumi for all of my travel needs.

Garmin Nuvi 680

I have been a hold out on GPS devices for some time waiting for the price to drop. I couldn't resist any longer and went out and purchased the Garmin Nuvi 680. I did a fair amount of research and I found the Garmin devices to be superior to other brands. Also, the 350 comes preloaded with MSN Direct (one year free service) which gives pretty reliable traffic information as well as local information on movies and other attractions. The device is super light and easy to transport for road trips. Best Buy was running a special and I picked up my Garmin for $500. I am delighted with the purchase.

On long weekends, especially holidays like Memorial or Labor Day, I love to spend time with friends and play backgammon. It's terribly addictive and a great way to gamble (if you are so inclined). Backgammon is really popular in Europe so if you polish your skills in the USA you can show off your prowess on your next trip across the pond.

I won this video camera at an industry event and I have been very happy with it (and not just because it was free!). It's battery powered which is kind of nice. It takes two AA batteries. The picture and audio quality is good and you can get up to 60 minutes of coverage. The best part is the transfer of the footage to your computer is done through a simple USB port on the camera. This video camera is ideal for road trips, sporting events, and vacation.

I purchased these headphones about two years ago and have really enjoyed them. They deliver high quality sound, whether it's music from your iphone or watching a movie on your laptop. They also come with a series of adapters so you can listen to them on every airline. I also use these headphones just to cancel the noise of the plane, which is a amazingly good experience. I find that I'm able to sleep much better with these headphones on. I own this item and love it.
