Digital Camera Pouch

Description
A pouch like this -- with a velcro closure for quick removal no matter how thick your gloves -- is the best way to get shots when you're in the snow. Just attach it to your sternum strap, pull your camera out and replace it in seconds.

Steep [Blu-ray]

Description
If you really love to ski, you won't be able to stop grinning while watching Steep. Not much Pulitzer-prize-winning narrative or dialog in this documentary, but there are some fantastic hi-def scenes and -- more than once -- you will find yourself saying "Holy Shit!" (via Alyson)

Petzl Adjama Climbing Harness
3 people recommended this item
Description
I've been using this harness for about three months now. It has a small buckle that doesn't require doubling back. It's reasonably comfortable, very lightweight, and has stiffened gear loops.
What really sets it apart from the other harnesses I've owned, though, is that it looks good. Leave it to the French to make rock climbing fashionable.
