This candle smells exactly like an afternoon in the islands, in someone's rattan-furnished livingroom, with gauzy curtains blowing out over the veranda and the sea somewhere not too far out and below. It's just fantastic.

This is just a killer scent. Not too sweet, not floral, just clean without being antiseptic or macho. I have a very indulgent friend who buys these by the case. I should learn from her.

Voluspa Royal Votive Gift Box

Despite the fact that my mother-in-law-to-be once gave me this set, it is absolutely wonderful. The Voluspa scents are unique: Vintage Tobacco Vanille, Jasmine Tabac (a lot of tobacco going on here, but as with wine, it works): usually a floral or fruit combined withn something to temper it. Any time you need an interesting scent, just dip into the box!
