American Lawnmower Deluxe Light Push Reel Mower
First to recommend
Description
This is my mower. And it works extremely well. Has for over ten years. Even when the dog tries to attack it. Not necessarily for you if you have five or six acres of lawn to cut. But if you have a back yard just large enough for a party of four, then this thing will do you round the bend and back.

Aquia Dual Flush Toilet
2 people recommended this item
Description
Dual flush toilets are not yet "the thing" in the U.S., but eventually I have a feeling they will be... and the ones that remind us most of the "loo" we use today. The Aquia satisfies.
Um. I have a feeling I shouldn't have said exactly that. But it's too late now. I'm not gonna change what I've said.
A dual flush toilet has different flushes for "number one" and "number two." So you use a different amount of water for each flush. And you save as much as 67 percent of water usage.
And that's cool.

Schwinn 500CD Electric Scooter
First to recommend
Description
Yesterday I'm walking along downtown Spokane minding my own business, and I see a guy, maybe sixty years old, cruising along on his brand new Schwinn 500CD, and I almost stopped him and congratulated him on his extra-hip-and-grooviness, but I didn't, because I was late already, and just kept walking, but then today here I am in another part of town altogether and what do I see but a twenty-something son-of-a-gun on the same darn model scoot-of-fabulousness and I'm thinking, "if two people can be seen in Spokane in two days riding the same model scooter, then damn, these things are very nearly mainstream."
Expect one running over your toes in the very near future. They're kind of groovy.

MAJIC 00425 8-0042 LATEX FLAT BARN AND FENCE PAINT RED
First to recommend
Description
I have no actual evidence of this actually happening, but I just have a feeling that inexpensive, high-cover, simple-color (red) barn paint is going to be the thing to use, very soon. On houses. On barns. On garages. On your dog.
Please don't use it on your dog.
Again, I've no reason to actually think it's actually going to happen... except my own gut, which says, when passing the big five gallon bucket at the farm supply store "hey, cool, barn paint!"
Remember, I'm a maven. That means you WANT TO DO WHAT I SAY.
Carry on.

Arm & Hammer Pure Baking Soda 12 oz (340 g)
First to recommend
Description
Arm & Hammer baking soda (or just about any baking soda, really, though I mostly use Arm & Hammer) is and was and always will be one of the most versatile cleaning, baking, de-odorizing, hammering, white-powdery substances in the world. Every-body should have giant bins of it at home ready to roll. I certainly do (just bought a big container like this one this weekend, so I'm ready to roll). Just because it's been around forever doesn't make it any less revolutionary, y'all.
Keep yourself armed.
Oh. That one made my belly ache.

A replacement battery almost half the price of the original apple model for my powerbook?

Pretty Good Music. Do you really need more of an explanation than that?
