Christian Louboutin ‘Nitoinimoi’ ankle boot

5 people recommended this item

Description

Bandage or bondage? This boot has a lot going on, corset style leather straps, a sheer faced toe, stiletto spike, and a hot red sole, it's kind of a evil toe shoe. I think it's either a very sexy shoe or a blunt instrument.

AGD is right, a silver pin-tucked couch like this would add instant glamour to any room. I'd love to put one up in my treehouse.

Description

Inspired by the famous lion-tamer, Isaac van Amburgh. Stackable and sturdy. Use as stool or side table. On the other hand, I have my own plans for this evil device, ha-ha-ah-haaa! Oh, you've been very bad.

Lole y Manuel: Nuevo día

Description

This one could easly be one of the top ten albums on my desert island collection.

The first record by the artistic duo that was formed by Dolores Montoya and Manuel Molina in 1975. Recorded under the direction of the flamencologist Ricardo Pachón, this now legendary record falls within the framework of the origins of new flamenco, or flamenco fusion, in the 1970s.

When I'm out to seduce while doing something innocent like cooking I can trust that Mongo Santamaria's compelling album "Afro Roots" will set the mood for conversation, and hypnotic suggestions.

A Scene from Pina Bausch's Ballet, by Helmut Newton

First to recommend

Description

This was the Helmut Newton photo that made me ask, who is Pina Bausch?

I finally got the answer to that question when I moved to Brooklyn where Pina Bausch's "Tanztheater Wuppertal" performed at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. I loved the super sexy, superhuman cast of Tanztheater Wuppertal, but I also was felt lucky to have seen Pina Bausch's solo performaces as well, she moved with a grace that has been missing from dance for sometime. But it was her choreography that inspired me, made me laugh till I cried. I'll allays think of her as the choreographer who replaced the toe-shoe with stilettos, I'll miss her vision.
