Girl on a Motorcycle ~ Poster

First to recommend

Description

The image campaign for this leather and oil love story was hip, sexy, and stylish, too bad the actual film wasn't as cool as the movie poster itself. Who knows maybe someone will remake it. (via Retro To Go)

Not Lost In Translation : English to SPANISH

Description

What I'm listening to at work ^_^

If you want to be able to walk into a bar in any country in the world, order a drink, make a friend and see what happens then Not Lost in Translation is your the guide for the 21st century traveller. You'll be speaking the local lingo and the words/ phrases that they didn't teach you in school that will help you get into a club, get you a drink and get you laid. It will teach you to flirt, shop, order food and get home safely in a cab. It will also teach you how to say '@#$ off' and it will teach you to say 'I love you'- the worst thing that'll happen is you'll at least start up a conversation.

The Book of Genesis Illustrated by R. Crumb

First to recommend

Description

I have to say Crumb's Eve is my favorite, she is truly hot.

This eagerly awaited graphic work retells the first book of the Bible in a profoundly honest way. Peeling away the theological and scholarly interpretations that have often obscured its most dramatic stories, R. Crumb—using the actual text word for word—has imagined the Bible as it really was. Now, readers of every persuasion—Crumb fans, comic book lovers, history buffs, and believers—can gain astonishing new insights from these harrowing, visceral, and even juicy stories. Crumb’s The Book of Genesis reintroduces readers to Adam and Eve’s Eden, Noah’s Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah, and the Pharaoh’s Egypt. Using clues from the text, Crumb fleshes out the parade of biblical originals: from the sensitive dreamer Joseph to the crafty Jacob, to the still-fetching Sarah, to God Himself. The result, four years in the making, is a tapestry of extraordinary detail, the finest work of Crumb’s legendary career.

Zona Urbana leather bracelet

Description

I love the Zona Urbana line of wrist bands, most are styled with a gladiator look that is often confused for punk. The band I have chosen to share with you is kind of slave ware meets gymnast wrist brace. I think it would look good with or with out clothing.

White Rabbit Figurine - British Library Online Shop

First to recommend

Description

Beautifully hand-painted figurine of the White Rabbit checking his pocket watch--it's not a toy, but one can imagine all sorts of interesting adventures and conversations that may or may not happen...

"The Cake is a lie?" Asked Alice, the white rabbit replied "A lie? A lie, an eye, a pie, the cake is a lie, the cake is a lie! And oh look at the time! Ooh! I'm late! I'm late!"
