Everlast High Performance Hook-and-Loop Training Glove

12 people recommended this item

Description

I never thought i'd see the day when pink boxing gloves became acceptable. But then, I guess a ton of women do cardio kick classes these days (incl me!)
Anyways, if you buy these some of the money goes to cancer research so it's all good! I love them!

Yeah, hitting this thing looks easy but it really isn't. It's hard and heavy ... wear gloves (preferably pink.)

Muay Thai Standard Ankle Supports - Purple

First to recommend

Description

Your ankles get quite the beat down in kick boxing so its best to keep them supported with ankle supports. These are purple, which of course is awesome. A great way to add some flair to your sweaty workout wardrobe.

Speedball with Platform

Description

Can I tell you something? This thing equals not easy at all. I looked like a scared kitten smacking around a ball of yarn when I tried this thing. It's going to take some major practice for me to get some speed on it.

Valeo Speed Jump Rope

Description

I was never a good jump roper as a kid but it turns out as an adult that I have to be in order to not get yelled at in kick boxing, Try speed jump roping for 10 minutes straight with a few breaks in between for slow push ups ... all while being yelled at. Super painful.

BOSU Professional Use Balance Trainer

Description

Last night in kick boxing we had to jump from BOSU ball to BOSU ball while holding TRX straps that were secured to the ceiling. My hamstrings and glutes were crying for mercy.

TRX Suspension Trainer Professional - Original

Description

This is an AWESOME workout. You build muscles by using your own body weight. This was used in the Navy, as you can workout in a very small space. I use these in kick boxing and in the TRX class that I sometimes go to on Saturdays.

Billy Blanks' Tai Bo - Billy's Bootcamp 2 Pack

First to recommend

Description

This isn't exactly kick boxing but this helped me get in great shape while I was living in DC. I had just moved into my first apartment and didn't have money for a gym membership. Billy kicked my ass right into shape with some kicking and punching.

Billy Blanks: Ultimate Bootcamp

Description

Out of all of my bootcamp DVD's, this one was my favorite. Maybe it was because it came with those trashy dog tags but I doubt it. It's a really great workout. The ab portion is killer.

I incorporated this new punching bag into my workout last night in kickboxing. It's great for practicing your punches. It wore me the heck out too.
