About this list:
Having been a bookworm as a child and inevitably the last one picked for any team in gym class, I would never have believed that I would be a die-hard fitness fanatic once I reached my freshman year in college. So, I know that there is an exercise to please each and every body. Perhaps you just haven't happened upon it yet. But you will feel better once you do . . . I hope this list helps you to find your own groove and work it.

Shiva Pillow

Description
I am a sucker for shivasana. During a truly difficult, muscle-burning class, the vision of lying on my mat motionless is what helps me make it through all of the preceding poses. This pillow will provide me with even greater incentive to work and then relax.

SKLZ Store: PowerBase Tennis Trainer
First to recommend
Description
When you have no partner readily available, your skills need not go to seed. (Just a little tennis pun, there.) Set up the PowerBase in a driveway or empty tennis or basketball court and swing away. Practice forehand, backhand, footwork, service and speed as the ball obediently bounces back to you. Initially frustrating (as you need to be very consistent with your swing), you will soon discover the best distance for you to stand away from the base and get a rhythm going. Safe, affordable and portable for players of all ages and levels.

Gaiam: Restorative Exercise for Relaxation Kit with Rodney Yee
First to recommend
Description
Going postal won't help. In fact, even the seemingly harmless act of repeatedly punching a pillow will only increase your blood pressure and make feel more out of control. So, what does help when it feels like your world is collapsing in on you ? Meditation: the practice of focusing on your breath as you attempt to empty your mind of thoughts about what else you could be doing, what you should of done or what you are going to do next. Even a minute or two a day will help you sleep better, feel more positive and think more clearly. And Rodney Yee's kind, informative approach will inspire both beginners and those returning to the cushion.

Dutch Bike Co. Seattle: The Women's Swan
First to recommend
Description
Not many bicycles can be considered works of art, or hark back to a period in art history. But the "Swan" can. An Art Noveau creation for the women who were forward-thinking enough to realize that exercise was a good thing, this cycle is back again in spades with all of the technology now available to cyclists AND the original iconic design. Biking to work is starting to look better all the time . . .
