Description
Swedish winters are long and dark. Swedish pop band Komeda make music that's bright and happy. "What Makes It Go?" is like summer all year round. Favorite track: "A Simple Formality"

Broken Social Scene - You Forgot It In People
3 people recommended this item
Description
Straight from Toronto, Canada, Broken Social Scene has taken the indie rock scene by storm with beautifully orchestrated tranquil sounds, which is created by 19 members.
You Forgot It in People features amazing songs such as "Pacific Time" (heard in the L Word), "Looks Just Like the Sun" (Nip/Tuck) and my favorite, "Almost Crimes."
I saw them open up for Bloc Party a couple of years ago and they completely blew my mind. Want in on this experience?
They're playing at Sunset Junction this year on Saturday, August 23rd. Don't miss it!

Kristin Hersh - Learn to Sing Like a Star

Description
I've loved Kristin for years, first when she was leading Throwing Muses and then during her solo career. She's often neglected by critics and the press, but she *is* a truly amazing songwriter and musician.
Favorite track: Winter
