I have somewhat sensitive skin, but it's also kind of prone to oiliness. So i'm very particular about the makeup I buy. I hate the idea of makeup clogging my pores or doing more harm than good, so this is a list of products I've found that I'm loyal to despite my high standards, which means they must be good!

Almay Clear Complexion Concealer

Amazing stuff! "Oil-free spot concealer targets your blemishes with salicylic acid to help clear and prevent blemishes. Infused with meadowsweet to help purify as well as chamomile and aloe to calm irritation and reduce redness." I hate using foundation because i'm always afraid of clogging my pores and making my skin look worse in the end. When I get a blemish, I don't just want to cover it up—I want something that's working to eliminate it, with the added benefit of cover up. it comes in three shades (unfortunately, "medium" is the darkest, so it's not good for anyone who has skin darker than olive). It isn't pink-toned, so it actually blends with your skin. Nice convenient fuzzy applicator, small and easy to carry in a purse. You can buy it at any drugstore.

ALMAY bright eyes eye base and concealer

Description

Great, cheap, light, non-greasy concealer. It has a little brush that you squeeze the makeup out of, it's best to squeeze it and then wipe the makeup off the brush onto the back of your hand, then pick a little up with the brush again. Sweep it gently under your eyes just enough to cover the dark circles (but not too close, or you'll look weird). Almay foundation is better than most drugstore brands because it's not "reddish" or pink-toned, and Shade 3 (medium) blends right in with my olive skin.

I'm a pore freak. i look at my face really close up in the mirror and see all this tiny white junk coming out of my pores and it drives me nuts. doing the biore strips works but i can't bring myself to do it more than every once in a while. and anyway, i feel like i want something to take that junk out of my whole face at once. then comes this little gadget. its gentle vibrating action rubs out every trace of anything that might be coming out of your pores! just use it every three days and your skin will be so clear it will be glowing. don't forget to moisturize like you normally would afterwards, and don't press too hard. it's just not necessary, and you could hurt yourself. i love this thing!
