Van's Aircraft - RV-4
First to recommend
Description
My son got to fly in an RV-4 recently, and I have to say I was officially jealous. This was just one of the coolest little airplanes I've ever seen (up close, or far away). The owner was all modest about having built the plane from a kit... but he was also all gab about how wonderful his grand lil plane was in the air.
I don't fly, but if I did, I'd want me one of these like yesterday.

La Spaziale Vivaldi II Single Group Dual Boiler
First to recommend
Description
If you are a total coffee geek (and I know you are), then this might be just the machine for you. Includes a Dual Manometer, 7 day programmable timer, half degree delta, four-hole steam wand, and new LED display make this one a keeper. But you know what else? It won a coffeegek editor's choice award in 2006, and those people are not easily impressed.
I'm not going to give up my Anita for this baby, but if I had the opportunity to snag a second machine, I'd give this a decent ogle.

Canon XL2

Description
It's ridiculous for me to want this. Nevertheless, I want it. And I have so far loved everything I've ever owned that's made by the good folks at Canon. I expect nothing less o this little marvel.

Amazon Kindle Wireless Reading Device

Description
Now that Kindle is just a little bit less expensive, I think I need one. Or you need one. I have friends who have one. Why don't I have one yet? Oh heck, it's still a bit more than I can probably afford. But I don't care. It's cool. And I need it. Because, well, why wouldn't I?

I Listen To Bands... Print by Evan Ferstenfeld
First to recommend
Description
There's some fantastic irony in having a giant print of just simple text with a witty, ironic, cool saying on it. I'm thinking I might have to have this. Then again, I'm thinking I could make this for, like, twenty or thirty cents and a stencil.

BMF Elettriche Modular Type System 1.0
First to recommend
Description
Enormously enormous modular type system? I'm in. If only because it's so enormously enormous and I want to play.
I said I want to play!
Also, should this be the face of the moment? Sure. Let's make it that. One long moment that seems to go on for an eternity.

Omega Men's Seamaster Watch #2265.80.00
First to recommend
Description
I've been looking a lot at watches lately, and though there is no way in heaven-on-earth I can afford this right now, I'm thinking so long as I'm looking at watches and lingering on the really nice ones, I might as well linger longest on the watch that James Bond wears, yes?
Yes.
And you? What will you wear?

Note to people making stuff they want to sell me: make it look as if there are bites out of whatever it is you are trying to sell me and I will likely be moved to the Visa card. That is, assuming there is any space left on the poor Visa card after all the other things I bought with bites taken out. Lord. Exactly what Visa is for, apparently.

List that features this:
Clover 1s
First to recommend
Description
This is the coffee maker you will be asking your barista about in the next year or so. "Do you have a Clover?" you'll say. Because if they do, you'll want do drink there, but if they don't, youll seek it out. And, luckily, the Clover site has a handy google map of all the stores currently using their single-cup brewing machine.
Of course, now that Starbucks owns the Clover technology and the machines are starting to arrive in stores, you can pretty much expect the number of locations to skyrocket in something like thirty or forty seconds.
Gimme some clover-coffee, man.
