About this list:

It is summer up here in the Northern Hemisphere ! Whether you are planning a month abroad, a share at the shore or a weekend in wine country, you will need a place for all your stuff: beach supplies, cosmetics, clothing, kids' toys, electronics, camping gear, bicycles and boats. Or, if you have no travel plans, you may just want to change your bag to lighten your load and/or mood. Finally, don't forget all those marvelous clutches for your big nights this season.

Qualifications:

I have, um, a lot of baggage.

Shagbag: Peace Classic Shopper

First to recommend

Description

Thanks to the activist artistry of Shagbag owners Alli Oliver and Stefanie DiBenedetto, shunning plastic is becoming a more affordable and fashionable proposition. This peace-loving bag is my favorite, but these Tyvek bags are available in 18 different and equally swell designs. (via boho)

L.L. Bean: Maine Guide Rucksack

First to recommend

Description

The body of this bag is constructed from a water-resistant waxed-cotton canvas, so it is made to last . . . perhaps even well beyond your school days. The leather straps and brass hardware add a touch of class to this rugged sack, however, so you may want to continue using it once you get your first gig. It will exude character, particularly after years of use.

Getting all of my cosmetics, hair care and toiletries into one compact unit would be a small miracle but I think this tote could manage me and my stuff. The interior pockets are clear and thus, helpful if you are packing this in your carry-on or handbag.
