Description
I bought this (the "Game of the Year" edition, which includes some expansion packs) at the mall yesterday, because the professional reviewers gave it such accolades.
I spent the first hour tweaking the formidable array of facial parameters to make an elf that looks like me. Now I've only just begun the gameplay and, so far, I'm enjoying the expansive freedom of the game.

Transcend 2.5" Solid State Disk 32 GB
2 people recommended this item
Description
This drop-in replacement for your laptop's hard drive represents the future of laptops. It's low-power, runs cool and quiet, and is much more shock-resistant than a traditional hard drive.
I just can't decide whether to buy one of these and add it to my existing laptop or wait a few months for the price to decline by 50% and buy it with an entirely new laptop.
I predict this is going to be THE laptop feature of 2008. (via jthurkettle)

Nvidia Claw Gaming Tee

Description
I usually hate t-shirts with corporate logos. I mean shouldn't they pay ME to wear their billboard around town? But, in this case, the logo is obscure enough and the design cool enough that I'm gonna place the order. I'll update this recommendation when I receive it.
Now the only question is: Does this go on the fashion list or the geek list? Both, I guess.

This is always a handy thing to have around for when zombies start showing up - they can't bite through this and change you into the undead. With just a few handy weapons and this shirt you will be near invincible.

This little digital bean bag is so cute and fun. My uncle owns one, so when I visited him last week, I had a chance to play with it.
