I too can vouch for the reliability of the Netgear unmanaged switch. Plus they look good, and they're cheap.

I haven't had any problems with their managed switches either.

Dell now offers a 17" laptop with Nvidia 8600GT graphics card. Their linux support track record is as good or better than any other vendor (which is to say: not very good). But if the fans are in the right place, I may trade in my Sager.
