Description
there's no sound quite like a steel slide guitar; no other guitars sound quite like it, so if you're going for the blues, this is the way to go... (via amazon)

Wittner Taktell Piccolo Metronome
First to recommend
Description
i have this metronome and i use it both for music but i am also a poet and i use it daily for both.... for poetry, it actually helps me keep the rhythm going and i even use it as background for my nonfiction writing (currently a biography) and i find it really helps. It's not prohibitively expensive, it's reliable, you can't over-wind it unless you TRY REALLY HARD so it's sorta fool-proof in this way and it's just a nice-looking, classic metronome. No, it's not wood, but the plastic does not detract. (via metronomes . net)
