Parent Hacks: Real-world parenting tips from real parents

Description
This is where the Web is headed -- at least where parents are concerned: parenting tips by parents, for parents, about what really works with kids.
I'm a huge fan of the site. I love its down-to-earth philosophy and its grassroots style.
You won't find any experts pontificating from on high here (thankfully).
It's all about parents sharing their best "hacks" (solutions) to the problem du jour. That can be anything from getting kids to sleep, to dealing with mealtime madness, to tackling toilet training, to navigating the baby products aisle. (I'm only just touching on the range of "hacks" you'll find at this one-of-a-kind parenting site. You have to check it out for yourself to truly "get" Parent Hacks. (via The Mother of All Lenses)

Zyliss Swivel Peeler

Description
I hated peeling potatoes and carrots until I discovered this vegetable peeler. It's the only one I've ever come across that actually allows me to peel large quantities of vegetables without getting cramps in my hand. If you're going to be doing batch cooking or making large quantities of baby food, this is the one to get. Highly recommended.

Mabel's Labels: Labels For The Stuff Kids Lose!
First to recommend
Description
Mabel's slogan says it all -- "labels for the stuff kids lose" -- and that includes dishes and other feeding paraphernalia that can go AWOL at daycare or Grandma's as well as school lunch dishes. Be sure to choose the dishwasher-safe labels for anything that's going to be subjected to repeated washings -- and look for Mabel's line of allergy-alert labels if food allergies are a concern for your child.
