CEIVA remote digital photo sharing display

First to recommend

Description

The fact that you can send photos remotely is quite amazing. My mum, for example, does not own a computer. I have difficulty sending her photos, since they're all digital and a pain to print, not to mention expensive.

Besides, what a great eco-friendly way to exchange photos without the cost and waste of paper!

Can I say I love the leopard skin option? Not for mum, but for me...

Orchid Bouquet

First to recommend

Description

When all fails, send flowers. I chose this bouquet because it looks gender-neutral... It does not look sappy, which could send the wrong message. It would look lovely on an executive desk, regardless if the executive is a he or she.

Tea Tree Skin Care Kit

Description

It took a little getting used to... the strong scent of Tea Tree Oil. Once you like it, you end up loving it. Regardless is you are microphobic or not, tea tree is a great natural product with so many medicinal benefits, it's hard to say no to.

Letters Of Marque Pajamas

First to recommend

Description

I grew up wearing pajamas... Literally wore them as regular daywear (think Vietnam)... For a long time I thought it odd, but no longer. Wish I could wear jammies everywhere now... COMFORT! Aaahhh. Key to a good life.

Love these Letters of Marque pajamas, but Mum would chase me if I tried wearing these in public.

Dolce & Gabbana Silk Jacquard Dress

Description

I'm normally not into girlie looking dresses, but somehow Dolce & Gabbana can make a girlie thing very womanly. I love this dress.

Sahalie Buff Bandanas

First to recommend

Description

I love these. They're not really bandanas but rather multi-purpose headbands, such as hair tie, neck warmer, etc. They can also be used as face masks for motorcycle riding or burning man. These Sahalie exclusive prints are great.

Encyclia Aspera Orchid Arrangement

First to recommend

Description

Allscape Design offers beautiful orchid arrangements in unique vessels. He designed some of the great silhouettes for Dvider, the wall decals company. I wasn't surprised when I found out. Those wall decals reflect his floral design style. These aren't cheap though. The arrangements are priced around $250 and up.

KidViskous Diamond Necklace

Description

Ever since I've been more informed about the diamond cartel, I've been less than anxious to get or receive diamonds, that's for sure. Here is an alternative I think quite lovely, and humorous. Mirrored lucite material so it sparkles... just like diamond. And it's only $40. :-)

Jade Tree Branch Necklace

First to recommend

Description

Lovely interpretation of a Jade tree branch (though there isn't jade on the necklace, which I think is a miss in a way, but not damaging to the style). Stained coral with turquoise, hematite and Swarovski crystal. Sterling chain and closures. Hand-made by the artist, Serena, out of Oakland. Only $75. It looks much more expensive. Living Wreath

First to recommend

Description

It took me a long time to appreciate succulents. It took learning about sustainable gardening for me to understand and love these plants. I especially love them on wreaths. They continue to grow (eventually you will need to replant some of them) with little water. Cool they weren't picked and dried for ornamentation purposes. They can continue to live healthy lives after they outgrow their little home. (via Elfing It)
