About this list:

Looking good and feeling good are inextricably intertwined. So, wearing the right stuff can motivate you to get moving on your sluggish of days and, then, keep you grooving however intense your sport or dance or game.

Qualifications:

Even while sweating, I try to keep it together.

Under Armour: Men's UA Ignite Low ST Baseball

Description

Whether defending the infield or outfield, you need fleet feet (not to mention super-human reflexes.) The right kicks won't make you, but they could break you. Pete Kozma, still in the minor leagues, will need all the right stuff (and a wee bit of luck) to earn a position within the 2009 Saint Louis line-up.

Not quite as sweet as slipping into your own Braves uniform, but, perhaps these shades designed with the Braves in mind will keep rookie pitcher Tommy Hanson geared up until he gets that long-awaited call to the Show.

These shoes are so neon-bright the color is actually called "electricity" . . . and they may just give you the incentive, if not an actual infusion of energy, to get your workout show on the road.

Dinara Safina may not have won her match yesterday against Serena Williams, but she was a great (and great-looking) sport. Of course, coming in second at the Australian Open and now reigning second in women's professional tennis are amazing feats for a 22-year-old athlete.

Description

Throughout the past year, Nike Plus-powered runners, walkers and joggers competed in the "The Fifty State Throw Down," pitting each of the 50 states against one another in a race to log the most miles. While in this particular race, everyone who competed was truly a winner in committing to fitness, California took home the gold, Texas the silver and Florida the bronze. My relatively dinky state finished right in the middle of the pack. Not too shabby, Jersey ! Since only 49 states are listed in the standings, one of the 50 did not compete at all: Connecticut. Curious.

Lady Footlocker: Women's Drama Queen Knit Hat by adidas Originals

First to recommend

Description

Now that I am running in below-freezing temps, I am no longer as concerned with hat head has I am with staying warm enough to complete my workout. And, if you are going to wear a hat, it might as well be both fun and functional. This hat provides me with the option of deciding whether to go for the full dramatic effect, or something a little more demure. My kind of beanie.
