i'm writing a book on Lewis Carroll and was using this book at The Morgan because it is hard to find, but voila, Biblio had it and i found it and bought. This is an invaluable guide for anyone interested in Lewis Carroll as a writer and photographer and him as a person. For me as a writer, it has been amazingly useful and informative for my forthcoming biography about Carroll. (via biblio)

well, i'm not totally in love with it because i wrote it, so i sort of recommend it because it's somehting i did a long time ago and was my very first book and i'm proud of that because i was so very young at the time. It DID get great reviews though (you can Google them up if you want, tho one is on Amazon, i believe). The book is selling as a rare book, the first signed edition anyway on eBay and other sites like ALibris etc - but the cover is by Ralph Gibson - you can check out my poetry at www.tantmieux.squarespace.com and if you like that, then you can maybe check out the book. How's that for a deal?

I'm a writer and an illustrator, working now on my third book, this one about Lewis Carroll and when I meet with my illustrator partner I want something that we can easily incorporate text and type at the same time and write out storyboards and the like so that we have a real sense of what the finished book will look like page by page... this is an excellent tool for this and the perfect shape and size... We've been using Moleskin's as well - also excellent.... For any artist of any kind, poet, writer, illustrator, painter, even for a designer etc. this is an excellent daily work book and sexier than others too.

i go to nyc once a month sometimes more, and this gives you a great deal of ready-made information but also allows you to create your own directories and guides and address book, along with a generous space for notes and writings, so you in short, are the co-editor and co-writer of a guide book tailored specifically for and to you... this is REALLY useful if you travel to the major cities and for New York especially, i finally got this (thinking stupidly I did not need it at first... duh) and realizing that actually, this is a super thing and you can do so much with it... check it out..... all moleskine products are superior to almost anyother notebooks you can find....
