From the first time I saw a pair, I have been obsessed with tortoise shell glasses. I was almost excited in fourth grade when I discovered I needed glasses because that meant I could wear tortoise shell every day! Now, many years later, I still get to wear tortoise shell, but I have the opportunity to wear expertly designed and oh-so-stylish tortoise shell, like these classy Coach sunglasses! I really am not one to buy something just for the designer name, but after many years and many broken frames I have discovered that when it comes to glasses, you totally get what you pay for. These would be such a great wear everyday pair of sunglasses for the modern man on your gift list! Almost every guy I know has at least one pair of absolutely horrible sunglasses he insists on wearing because his nice ones are too dressy to wear casually, which is exactly why I'll be telling them all about these. I think they'd look great with just about any outfit, even a horrible tee-shirt he bought at the shore on a vacation he went on 9 years ago that he refuses to throw away! Sorry...venting. OK, so I know Summer is almost over, and I should be focusing my entire attention on new prescription frames, but my gosh look at these! If there was such a thing as violet ice, this is what it would look like. And it would be the coolest most wonderful thing anyone ever saw. I love these so much I would make up reasons to go outside just so I could wear them. How is Marc Jacobs the coolest designer in the world? Eh, I don't really care how I guess. I usually look for sunglasses that are a little bit different from anything I've seen before, but sometimes a classic frame has more than earned it's classic status. I love these sunglasses! What I like best about them is how large the lenses are, but I love how thin the frames are. I've been looking for a less "bulkier" pair of sunglasses, as I found during the warm months, they felt too heavy on my face. I'm really digging the brown tortoise color! (via Vision Specialists)
