Stila Shadow Pots

Description
Some douchey kid I dated very briefly during my tumultuous Freshman year of college once told me that eyeshadow has fish scales in it. I was momentarily grossed out, but then realized that he himself was in fact wearing eyeshadow (and later, I discovered, a corset). Allow me to be frank: I love eyeshadow, and creme eyeshadow is my absolute favorite for ease of application and general prettiness. The downside of many creme shadows is that as soon as you blink, it creases up and you're left with a ridge of pretty crusted in your eye like dirt crusted in the neckrolls a white trash baby. Oh ho, but not with this pot o' gold. Long wearing, super-blendable, and with a low crease-factor, I adore this shadow. I have silver and champagne, and I adore them both.

Clean & Clear Maximum Strength Persa-Gel 10

Description
Literally, the only thing you will ever need for a zit. Pop that bad boy (I know it's bad... Sue me), dry it out with some good astringent, and slather this stuff on before you go nite-nite. I'm tellin' you, it's magic. A caution about putting this on in the a.m.: make sure you moisturize afterwards because it can be drying and can also leave crusty white stuff on your face if you don't rub it in good. Consider yourself warned.

st. ives medicated apricot scrub

Description
Okay, so I've seriously used this since like the fifth grade. I've tried dozens of other more expensive beauty routines *coughProActivCliniqueArbonnecough* and none of them work as well as this classic scrub. Every morning it perks up my skin and keeps the zits at bay. I've also been told that I have nice skin, and to which I reply, Thanks. No way I'm giving this little secret away...

Benefit Lipstick in Just Right

Description
I'm not exactly a "neutral" kind of person. In fact, I hate and despise neutrals because they are all that is boring and safe in life. However, one cannot exactly wear hot pink lipstick and blue eyeliner to a business function. Which is I've finally found the perfect just-right pink, not-too brown, your-lips-only-better lipstick. And of course, it's from Benefit because, well, I love them.

Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Pressed Powder

Description
I have a very, uh, rosy complexion, which is basically a nice way of saying I get ruddy as hell. As my BF so eloquently put it, I'm not white, I'm pink. My skin is sensitive and combination, and I'm prone to breakouts, so this little wonder of a powder is a lifesaver. I've used PF stuff for years, with great results, but this is by far my favorite. It goes on light and easy, blends beautifully, and lasts longer than any other powder I've tried without being dry and cakey. The minerals also make for a more luminous look without being straight up sparkly.

Sebastian X-tah Crude Clay Modeler

Description
A great texturizer for short hair. Gives layers great shape and definition with a matte finish so you can use a lot and not look greasy. I love this stuff, and pretty much everything by Sebastian. I have no idea where the "X-tah" came from, but I'm guessing it's British, so it won't make sense anyway. Just go with it.

Urban Decay Cosmetics - Eye Shadow

Description
Urban Decay makes their eyeshadow with CRACK. You cannot resist it, and once you get started using, you will abuse it until the day you die. These are all the colors I currently have: Baked, Chopper, Half Baked, Midnight Cowboy, Roach, Sin, Smog, Twice Baked, Oil Slick, Vapor, X, YDK.
Um, best range of colors, best-wearing, best application, best everything, Best powder eyeshadow ever, as far as I'm concerned. And once again, lasts forever. Which I've heard is a bad thing, but there's no way I'm throwing these out after six months. I bet that's just a guerilla marketing ploy to get you to buy more anyway.

Not only does this shimmery stuff give your skin a luscious glow, but it also lasts forever, as does Benetint. Seriously, that's why Benefit stuff is so cost-effective. Plus, um, it works. Which is really the only reason you need.

Benefit Dandelion

Description
I'm pale. That's right, I'm not afraid to admit it. I am whiter than a nun's panties. So I can't really use a whole lot of dark blush and bronzer or whatever without looking like a damn fool. Dandelion is basically the greatest thing ever for us pale people who don't mind looking pale, but don't want to look starched and stiff. Adds a great, subtle glow to really make your complexion look awesome. I layer it over Benetint, and it's basically perfect.
