So, this list is a list of the essentials that I think every young college woman should have before embarking on those 4 crazy years. Enjoy.

Description
My laptop was stolen in college. So were a bunch of my friends' laptops. Which is really the worst because they hold your life basically - especially if you have all of your class notes on your computer and then someone sneakily takes it out of your life. I'd invest in a notebook lock without a doubt if doing it all over again. People will break into your apartment or dorm room just to steal your laptop, but if it's cabled down with steel they will be out of luck.

There really is nothing better than slipping into your UGGs on a cold morning and walking to class. Except staying in bed, that is. But warm boots are a must have in college, and nothings more dependable than UGGs. Mine lasted me the entire 4 years and they're still going strong. Comfy, durable, and the warmest coziest things around. Sure, they look like hell, but who cares? It's early. It's cold. And you're cozy.

Ladies and Gents. If you don't have these, get them now. They are the most comfortable sweat pants in the whole wide world, I promise. I prefer the Men's Size L, because I like my loungewear roomy, but any size of your choice will leave you in sleep-in-late-make-breakfast-at-2pm bliss.
And for college? Everybody needs a good pair of sweats to lounge around and detox in all weekend. And these are by far the comfiest and best.

Girl, just because you're out partying and having all this fun doesn't mean you can get all sedentary on yourself. Staying active in college is so important not only to avoid that pesky freshman 15 but because the way you treat your body at the tender age of 15-21 has a large impact on how your body will perform and feel for the rest of your life. Plus, most college gyms are pretty nice and membership comes free with tuition. New Balance makes great shoes that will last you a while. So get movin, and get liftin. Unless you want to end up 30 and overweight with a bad case of diabetes, damn it.

I can't get enough of REI's bags made from recycled plastic bottles. They looks great and are so incredibly practical - I couldn't have designed them better myself! They don't miss a beat with their gym bag: it has a big side pocket that holds a 1L water bottle, a separate compartment for your dirty gym clothes with an airy mesh ventilation system that keeps your clean clothes looking and smelling fresh, and get this: a removable shower caddy for you to keep your toiletries in that easily transports from your bag into the shower. Genius, I tell you.
Plus, it has straps for your yoga mat on the side of the mat, unlike some bags where it straps on to the underneath so you can't set your bag down. And of course, the essential zippered pocket for keys, wallets, cell phone, etc.
Can you think of anything they left out? Cus I surely can't. Comes in black and blue.
