HP 17BII Financial Calculator

2 people recommended this item
Description
This is THE standard when it comes to financial calculators. Show up at a business meeting with the trusty and functional HP 17B and you'll look like you know what you are doing even if you don't. Of course, to really impress you have to switch the calculator to RPN (Reverse Polish Notation) mode versus the standard Algebraic mode. It's what all the folks in financial services use to crunch numbers. Regardless of your mode preference, this calculator will easily switch back and forth and handle almost any of your number crunching needs.

MacMall – MacBook
2 people recommended this item
Description
I recently converted from PC to Mac and I am really happy with the decision. The MacBook is extremely functional, easy to use, and (hard to say why) FUN! I researched the MacBook Pro and standard MacBook models and I decided to go with the standard (black) model because with the upgrade to Intel dual-core processor and the ability to increase hard drive size up to 160gig, the MacBook possesses enough horse power to easily drive the most RAM heavy applications and house all of your files and digital content. I also like the standard MacBook because of it's size. It's sleek, relatively light weight, and easy to schlep around airports and between meetings. You can also buy a separate monitor to project your screen if the screen size is an issue.

Canon All-In-One Inkjet Printers
First to recommend
Description
I recently purchased this printer after doing a fair amount of research. I wanted to buy an "all in one" printer that would let me copy, scan, and print. There are some all in one printers that also include fax but that is not a feature that I needed since I have a fax card on my laptop. As for the Canon MP610, the printer function is surprisingly fast and prints out clear and sharp color documents. For the money, it's hard to beat this all in one printer. The one thing to budget for is replacement of the ink cartridges. Although I have not had to replace mine at this point, I am told it's about $5 per cartridge.

Mont Blanc Pen

Description
I received a classic style Mont Blanc pen as a college graduation gift and I was perplexed at the time as to why any one would pay $100 or more for a pen. However, fast forward 15 years and I STILL have that same pen and I have used it to sign every major business deal in my career. Mont Blanc is the standard name in the pen business and you can't go wrong buying one. They feel great in your hand, look stylish, and, of course, last forever!

DIXON Fine Tip Dry Erase Marker Set
First to recommend
Description
I wouldn't survive in the business world without a white board and a set of dry erase markers. These markers are great for writing on glass, white boards, or easel posters. You can even use them for craft projects around the home if you are so inclined.

Tumi Neo Prene Small Laptop Sleeve
First to recommend
Description
I like to travel light for business. This neoprene laptop case from Tumi is functional, durable, and stylish. All of my luggage is Tumi. It's expensive but the products last and are very reliable. I think it's worth the money.
