Shelled Hemp Seed

First to recommend

Description

I LOVE hemp seed. I have been sprinkling a couple of tablespoons on m morning yogurt. It has a great texture. (Somewhere between a seed and a steal cut oat ) It has a mild nutty flavor and just 4 tablespoons per day contain all the required proteins in the best proportions for human consumption. Helps with weight control, cholesterol, food cravings and increases energy. (via Natures Perfect Food)

kangaroo pita chips

First to recommend

Description

These chips have all but replaced tortilla chips in our household. At just 100 calories for 9 ounces they are a fantastic alternative. (You also get a whopping 3 grams of fiber / 4 grams of protein and a scant 2.5 grams of fat.)

We get ours at Costco in a big two pack, serve them with Hummus and you are all set. YUMM!! (via Kangaroo Brands)

Hot damn if I wasn't ogling this little beauty at a fun shop in my boyfriend's hood a few weeks ago, and then, just like magic. . .
* poof *
It shows up in the mail from the sweethearts over at This Next!!
I loved it then and I love it now. In fact, I've run around all day showing it to my coworkers far more gleefully than they were receiving it, but probably just because it wasn't theirs.
I love fun design and eco friendly products, and this is both.

Shea Butter Hand Repair Creme - Burt's Bees

First to recommend

Description

I cant say enough good things about Burt’s Bees products. Recently, I had the pleasure of giving this hand cream a try. (nabbed some off my BFF’s desk~ she always has great stuff) And this cream is definitely a keeper. Sunflower oil and glycerin are infused with the all-natural goodness of shea butter and essential botanical oils like macadamia nut, rosehip, lavender, neroli and borage, that impart antioxidants and fatty acids to nourish your skin, nails and cuticles. It is like a mini spa for your hands. (via Burt's Bees)
