Ole Tea Pot

3 people recommended this item

Description

Designed by Ole Jensen for Royal Copenhagen in 1995, the Ole Tea Pot is about as contemporary a teapot as you will find. The fluid form makes tea a bit more fun than you'd generally think, and the bright yellow glaze gives it a playful feel.

Description

Sort of surprising that I haven't seen this design before. Ikuko Nakazawa's Chat Plates take a familiar chat bubble and turn it into a basic-but-unconventional surface for dishware.

A clever take on the sugar bowl, this piece by Tatsuya Okazaki positions the bowl's spoon as the core of an apple-shaped vessel. The hand-made bowl also features a double-walled lid.
