Bear Salt & Peper Shakers
First to recommend
7 people recommended this item
Description
Made from colored glass with aluminum caps, these salt & pepper shakers hold plenty of dated character. At 4.5" tall, they also make just enough of a statement on your tabletop.

Sorapot

Description
I like tea as much as the next guy but you have to REALLY like tea to purchase this teapot...that or an uber-design fan. This version will run you $250 without tea. You can get a "cheaper" version for $50 less but if you're going to buy something like this, you might as well go whole hog.

Fashion and home decor often mimic each other - apparently, trends cross over to the kitchen, too. Through a summer of tie dye and dip dye, make sure your tea pot is up to your fashionable standards.

Folding Colander

Description
A remarkably smart design, this Folding Colander by Antony Joseph folds to half an inch in width for easy storage. Made from polypropylene with 12 hinges, the piece also converts smoothly. (via BLTD)

Philip Wilson Pitchers and Mugs
First to recommend
Description
Although the white pitcher in this set is a little more visually appealing, the monochromatic tin version gives a much more direct feeling of repurposed design. You know recycling culture has arrived when we're designing new products to look like pieces picked up at a thrift store.

Description
While not exactly practical, these Bones salt & pepper shakers by Stiles in Clay are great for dinner conversation. Beware of the ammunition this set might provide vegetarians.
