With Valentine's Day coming up, I thought I would add this to my gifts list...maybe my husband will see this and get inspired. If you live in London or LA (or plan on visiting either city at some point), you should check out the Coco de Mer stores. I went to the LA store's opening gala, and it was quite a show. While definitely being erotic, Coco de Mer is upscale and glam. Very chic. I happened to see this dress in person, and it is gorgeous. The silk is decadent, and the cut is form fitting. And it's not just for lounging. I would wear this out...

Description

You can't go wrong with Agent Provocateur, sexy lingerie purveyor started in London. Some items are very racy, some are more classic. The fit is amazing, the detailing is outstanding. And apparently the boxes go for big money on Ebay... This slip is understated, yet glam. Check out the bra and panty collections, though fit might be more challenging in this department.

Description

Cosabella is the most comfortable lingerie ever. This camisole is gorgeous (sorry for the cruddy photo!). There are also very hot lowrider panties that go with it. And a chemise which is longer...very chic.

Deepak Chopra: Kama Sutra

If you get the chance to see Deepak Chopra speak, definitely take advantage of the opportunity. He's amazing, and very wise. I have to say that it was a bit strange for me to hear him speak about the kama sutra, because I'm friends with his children, but again, he's very wise. And his take on love and life is worth reading. Even if you tend to think of him as a father figure...

I'm in love with Jill Platner. Okay, I've never actually met her, but she's the most amazing jewelry designer. Her pieces are sculptural and eye-catching. I have many of her necklaces (thank you Gordon!), and they all are conversation starters. I'm adding a bracelet to my wish list, this one is quite nice. It's called Choir. There's another one on the home page that looks amazing, but I'm sure it's a couple thousand dollars, and I couldn't find it anywhere...so we'll save it for another list. (via Gordon Gould)

Me & Ro is awesome! Can't say enough about this understated jewelry designer. Most of the designs are simple enough to wear everyday, but they are also special enough to garner comments.

Ember - Massage Oil Candle

They don't say much about these candles on the website, but when my husband and I were at the store's opening one of the associates told us that these candles are made from soy, and the wax does not get hot, so you can drip it safely on the person you love. There is a handy pour spout in the ceramic container, so there's no messy spill. And if nothing else, these are just nice candles with a sublte aroma, nothing too overpowering...
