With Valentine's Day coming up, I thought I would add this to my gifts list...maybe my husband will see this and get inspired. If you live in London or LA (or plan on visiting either city at some point), you should check out the Coco de Mer stores. I went to the LA store's opening gala, and it was quite a show. While definitely being erotic, Coco de Mer is upscale and glam. Very chic. I happened to see this dress in person, and it is gorgeous. The silk is decadent, and the cut is form fitting. And it's not just for lounging. I would wear this out...

You can't go wrong with Agent Provocateur, sexy lingerie purveyor started in London. Some items are very racy, some are more classic. The fit is amazing, the detailing is outstanding. And apparently the boxes go for big money on Ebay... This slip is understated, yet glam. Check out the bra and panty collections, though fit might be more challenging in this department.

I have to say that it was a bit strange for me to hear him speak about the kama sutra, because I'm friends with his children, but again, he's very wise. I'm in love with Jill Platner. Okay, I've never actually met her, but she's the most amazing jewelry designer. Her pieces are sculptural and eye-catching. I have many of her necklaces (thank you Gordon!), and they all are conversation starters. I'm adding a bracelet to my wish list, this one is quite nice. It's called Choir. There's another one on the home page that looks amazing, but I'm sure it's a couple thousand dollars, and I couldn't find it anywhere...so we'll save it for another list. (via Gordon Gould)
