Design Table Clock

Description

Looking at this I can only think, "the art of time". Really striking. I don't even care if it actually tells time or not. I just like to look at it.

Tellarium Clock

First to recommend

Description

I pasted the full description below. This thing is awesome. Really beautiful.

The Tellurium clock reproduces the annual orbit of the earth around the sun, with the earth rotating around its axis once in 24 hours. The moon, in turn, revolves around the earth in 29.5 days, allowing the reproduction of the moon's phases as they are visible from earth.

The earth is tilted on its axis and is rotated by an auxiliary gear train. In the course of one year, the earth passes all twelve zodiac signs, months and days which are indicated on the flat disc.

The clock's 8-day spring wound movement with Westminster chime on 4 polished bells provides precise recording of time.

Cherrywood construction accented by a polished brass disc with milled zodiac signs, rosettes, and months and days of the year adds to its aesthetic appeal.

Disguise Kit

3 people recommended this item

Description

This I think is just damned funny. The idea of a disguise kit is that you DISGUISE yourself so nobody knows it is you. However, using this kit, people may not know who you are but they are also going to notice you which is probably defeating the other purpose of a DISGUISE kit.

Mr. Machine

First to recommend

Description

As much as it hurts, I have to admit that I do remember when these things first came out. I wanted one and didn't get it. This is an authentic Mr. Machine, manufactured using original molds, and packaged in a box featuring the original artwork. It comes with a DVD copy of the original Mr. Machine TV commercial, a replica of the original Mr. Machine U.S. Patent Certificate, a numbered Certificate of Authenticity, Mr. Machine's wrench, and a manual detailing the toy's history.

Lighting Red Hot Laser Light Show

First to recommend

Description

This is one of the most dangerous, yet cool, looking items on the Edmund Scientific website. According to the description this mutant machine shoots glowing red circles, spheres, lines, and shapes dance across your walls and ceiling. Add music and the laser beams respond to the sound, creating a truly interactive audio-visual experience.

Oberwerk Binocular Telescope

First to recommend

Description

If I could, I would buy this just to put in a corner of my office. It is that cool. Works as both a binocular for terrestrial viewing and as a telescope for sky watching. Really impressive.
