Penguin Flash Drive

Description
To go with the penguin mouse I mentioned earlier (http://www.thisnext.com/item/AFED4A8C/3DBDD792/Penguin-Computer-Mouse) here's another geek chic product for anyone who can't stand to look like a techie even though their house is full of gadgets (don't worry, I'm the same way).
It holds up to 1 GB of memory, which -- unless you're making feature films on your laptop -- is all you'll need to transport files, photos, or whatever you're transferring from home to work to wherever.
Plus, it's cute. (via Popgadget)

Teapot Warmer

Description
It's already September, which means summer is over, which means it's about to get cold, people. And there's nothing like a nice hot cup of tea to take the chill off those frigid fall nights.
Have you ever had luke warm or cold tea? Right, it sucks. So keep it warm with a teapot holder to avoid dissapointment. (via swissmiss)

The Wallpaper Maker
First to recommend
Description
Unsure about how to decorate your walls? Solid, bold colors are your best choice, but if you're a little more adventurous, you might be the sort of person who'd consider painting some kind of mural or fancy design.
It seems like a good idea, but that can very quickly get out of hand. I'd reccomend trying this guy -- he'll create custom wallpaper from whatever you send him -- photos, art, whatever. That way you know it'll at least resemble your original idea when you put it up. (via Apartment Therapy)

Funky Shaped Bookcase
First to recommend
Description
If you're living in a) limited space, or b) an open floor plan, you should look at ways to store your stuff in an attractive way. It'll keep your place free of clutter, and add some fun design elements to the room -- score!
You can get off to a good start with these funky shelves from Bonluxat. Their odd shape probably means they won't be incredibly useful (given the amount of space they'll take up), and they won't look cool in a year or two, but it's a sure-fire way to make a modern home look a little more fun. I've seen a couple of these cars already being driven around and they are tiny! But, they look incredibly comfortable and are just plain cute! Hoorah for fuel efficiency!

ModernTots :: Flying Carpet

Description
Let's be real: this is expensive. At nearly $2,000, this isn't for the real bohemian, loft-living type who's scraping by as an artist, or musician, or something. This is for the lawyer, ad exec, or whoever that wants to feel hip in spite of their income.
And by purchasing this golf course/chair/carpet thing, you will be successful. It's pretty awesome. (via Neatorama)

Batman Desk Clock
First to recommend
Description
For anyone going through a post-adolescent "what does it all mean?" phase, when you're constantly yearning for the simplicity of your childhood (not that I'd know anything about that), this is the clock for you.
Stylish and sophisticated enough to suggest maturity, success, and whatever else you're supposed to be in your mid to late 20s, but referencing one of the coolest butt-kicking superheros of all time.
What more could you ask for? (via Gizmodo)

Carafe by Marcel Wanders for Normann

Description
One of the things we fight against constantly in our house in clutter. But it's not just the stuff that actually takes up space that makes us feel like we're living in a pile of stuff -- anything that look disorganized and chaotic also adds to this feeling.
And one of the worst offenders is the pile of cords that spew from every direction behind our TV/stero -- our living room would be a much nicer place if I could just make them dissapear.
Hence, this cute little dog. It'll add a nice bit of modern decor for your room, while also keeping all that crap from invading your space. (via Geeksugar)

Adaptable Desk Chair
First to recommend
Description
This is another great space saver for your home office. You can have a comfy chair to sit in when you're meeting or talking on the phone, and it converts to a chair/table combo for when you're working on your laptop.
Beyond being clever, what's more important is that this allows you to ditch your desk -- which is a huge space-saver. Because if you're working from laptop, what's the point of a big clunky piece of furniture? (via Treehugger)

Ref-use Chair
First to recommend
Description
Sure, this chair looks cool, and would be perfect on your deck or patio, but what makes the Ref-use Chair even cooler is that it's made completely from reclaimed plywood scraps.
A great piece of furniture that you can feel good about owning. Sounds fairly perfect to me. (via Treehugger)
