One Fine Lookin' Wallet

Description
Now that you're a grown-up, it's time to stop carrying around that enormous, duct-taped wad of leather, crammed full of credit cards, old photos, random receipts and a few dollars in cash.
This wallet is sophisicated, but still masculine. A nice way to say you're a guy who knows what quality looks like. (via NOTCOT)

Wingtip Low Boots

Description
It's September, which means it's about to get cold and rainy. Unless you live someplace where it's summer all-year round, you'll need a pair of shoes (or boots) to get you through the next 5 or 6 months of crummy weather.
These boots will keep your dry without making you look like a grade-school kid on a snow day. They're expensive, but you'll probably wear them for years. (via NOTCOUTURE)

Rocking Wheel Chair

Description
This is a nice take on an old classic. No nursery is complete with a rocking chair in the corner, but in a more modern home these tend to look out of place (unless they're really, really nice).
But this chair will not only fit right in, it's design allows you to rock like you've never rocked before. Pretty rad. (via productdose)

Origami Jewelry

Description
I love resurgance of crafting. It's a fun hobby, and it's been whole-heartedly embraced by the hipster set, so you have all the fashionistas making their own clothes, jewelry and more. Awesome!
The only drawback is that crafty stuff can occasionally look...well...crafty. So crafty, that you couldn't wear some of it if you want to be taken seriously in a professional context. But this origami jewelry -- each crafted from a single piece of silver -- references the trend while still looking upscale. (via NOTCOUTURE)

Ultimate Modern Lighting Fixtures
First to recommend
Description
The key to just about any room in your house is lighting, lighting, lighting! So, especially if you're not lucky enough to have natural light, a cool-looking fixture (that actually adds light to the room) can be a big plus.
David Weeks stuff is smart, sophisticated, and totally functional. Worth checking out. (via Apartment Therapy)

LED Leaf Lamp

Description
Getting a bedside lamp will change the way you fall asleep. I used to think it was no big deal to get up out of bed, turn out the overhead light, then crawl back in, but now that would feel like I was living in the Stone Age.
Only problem is, most bedside lamp make your room look like Gandma and Grandpa's house.
This LED Leaf Lamp is the solution. It'll like the room and look exceptionally cool. (via Apartment Therapy)

Leaning Bookshelf

Description
OK, in practice, this might be kind of annoying. I've had my fair share of cutesy storage stuff around the house, and -- while it looks cool -- they're not worth it if they don't keep your house clean.
That said, if you don't have tons of books, and a relatively empty room, this is a fun way to keep your books in order and fill up the room with something fun. (via Apartment Therapy)

Toddler Cutlery Set

Description
If you've got kids, you know how much fun it is to shop for all the cute little stuff they use to feel like "big kids." Unfortunately, most of this sorta stuff (cutlerly, plates, cups, etc) is adorned with Dora, Hello Kitty, or some other mildly annoying animated character that's had their face plastered all over everything in Toys R' Us.
That's why I'm so into this cutlery set. After all, it's the little things that keep your house from turning into a pile of cheap plastic crap. (via Babygadget)

Boon Catch Bowl
First to recommend
4 people recommended this item
Description
The Catch Bowl is the perfect way to help first-time eaters control little spills. The built-in food catcher extends toward the child, funneling runaway food back into the bowl. Made from easy-to-clean soft material, the food catcher flexes when bumped. To help avoid bigger spills, a suction cup bottom keeps the Catch Bowl firmly in place.
