Cap Blaster Blowgun

First to recommend

Description

Not that I'd reccomend violence, but this gadget is pretty harmless, and for those of you with a slightly abrasive sense of humor, it'd be perfect.

As far as I can tell, it's a combination between a Nerf gun and a cap gun. You shoot little Nerf-style foam arrows with suction things on the end, and when you hit a target, the cap goes off, making a loud crack.

Sounds like the perfect way to goof off if you work in a laid-back office, or the perfect way to get fired if you work someplace that sucks. (via gearfuse)

Darth Vader Projector Alarm Clock

First to recommend

2 people recommended this item

Description

I cannot even begin to describe how completely nerdy this is. But yet, I love it. This little clock is not only the ultimate in Star Wars kitch, it projects the time on the wall - just like in your favorite sci-fi movie!

Sure to impress all your Trekkie friends -- however, I have a feeling keeping this next to your bed will prevent you from getting laid ever again.

Just sayin'. (via GeekAlerts)

Kung Fu CD Holder

First to recommend

Description

I'd be a little surprised if you still used CDs, and not MP3s that you downloaded off iTunes (or wherever) -- and, even if you are still playing music from compact discs, I'd be shocked if you're still keeping those discs in jewel cases.

That said, if you are, this is the coolest CD holder you're going to find -- ever.

Black and white modern design, and a cutesy little figure in butt-kickin' mode -- totally awesome. (via GeekAlerts)

Superman Hanger

5 people recommended this item

Description

There's no good reason for this -- no function or purpose it will serve in your life (other than hang your clothes -- but you could have that for 50 cents at Wal-Mart).

However, how freakin' awesome would you feel pulling all your clothes off Superman coat hangers? I'd especially like this for hanging anything I wore on weekends -- so I could change from a mild-mannered, Clark Kent version of myself that people see during the week, into the rockstar, Superman version of myself that comes out on weekends.

Really, the question is: why not? (via Neatorama)

Superman Learning Laptop

First to recommend

Description

Think you kid's ready to start learning how to use a computer, but aren't quite ready to set them loose on your laptop? Here's the gadget for you.

I don't know what 4-year-olds are into these days, but when I was a kid I would've loved anything that had Superman on it -- and the cool thing about this, is that instead of buying the kid some random piece of crap that happens to be adorned with Superman's image, you can get them something useful, that will help them learn.

Pretty cool. (via Neatorama)

Revenge of the Sith Darth Vader Lamp

First to recommend

Description

I'd put this in the same category as the Darth Vader alarm clock I reviewed earlier -- totally nerdy, but super fun and delightfully kitschy.

The difference with this, is that when lit, it's just odd enough that you might consider it pop-art -- so it'd lose a lot of the nerd appeal and become more like a self-referential, self-aware, highlly-ironic hipster design thing.

Though really, it's only cool because it's Star Wars. (via Popgadget)

Super Mario Bros Sound Pillows

First to recommend

Description

These little pillows make the exact sound effects from Super Mario Bros every time you punch them. So now you can have some geek-chic home decor, and cash in on the retro gaming trend, all while experiencing (just a little) of Mario's perilous animated existence.

The only problem that I can see with this, is that I'd never, ever be able to stop punching those things. (via GeekAlerts)

Cloud Juice Bottled Water

2 people recommended this item

Description

Depending on where you live, there's really no reason to drink bottled water. I know, people claim there's a taste difference, but I'm not so sure I can tell the difference between chilled tap and a bottle of Evian from the gas station.

So, if I'm going to pay for my water, I like it to be a little special (or, at least novel). That's why I'm a fan of bottled rainwater. In all honesty, with all the chemicals in the air, it's probably not very good for you, but at least I feel cool drinking it.

Adidas Porsche Design Sports Red With White Stripes Sneakers

3 people recommended this item

Description

I'm not huge into sports these days (at least, I don't play them very often), so for me to get interested in a pair of athletic shoes, they have to be wearable day to day. That's why I'm into the Adidas Porsche Design series. They're certainly sporty (and probably comfortable than any dress shoe you'll find) but also classy enough so that you won't look like a high school jock every time you have them on.

Bugaboo Bee Stroller - New for 2007

9 people recommended this item

Description

If you're serious about your stroller (and you have $500 to spend on one) Bugaboo is the way to go. They're better-designed, easier to use, and just plain look cooler than anything else you're going to find.

Plus, for the modern, urban, grupster-type parent of the future, this is the only you'll be able to take around your trendy Brooklyn neighborhood without getting laughed at by the other Earth Mommas.
