Aluminum Scoops

So handy and lightweight. I bought a 25 lb box of unsweetened carob chips in bulk, and was very happy to have this scoop to use when dividing the chips into resealable freezer bags. It shortened the length of the job measurably. And, my hand/arm didn't tire because the scoop is so light. I have these in 24 oz and 5 oz sizes. Both are very useful in numerous ways. Folks use them for pet food as well.

LUSH -- Natural Bubble Bath Bars

I've been a Lush fan ever since my first visit to a store in London a decade ago. For the longest time (until they opened US stores), I had to order online or via phone from Lush Canada. Not anymore! If you still haven't been to a Lush store, or there isn't one nearby, trust me, you want to try their bubble bath bars. They smell fantastic and make your skin feel smooth and, well, luscious. After you crumble off a piece of the bar, the bits make tons of bubbles. They also clean your tub! All their products are lovely. Some are vegan, and they don't test any on animals. If you don't take bubble baths, they have really nice shower gels, too.

Segundo by Juana Molina

Description

This has become my top CD in my jukebox at the moment. She's from Argentina, and sings the most catchy melodies. It's much more upbeat than Tres Cosas, but just as lyrical and delightful. When I listen to Juana Molina, my creativity is sparked, and I end up making much more interesting dishes and candy.

Description

Wonderful, etherial music. This amazing Argeninian songstress has a unique way of mixing vocals, guitars and synthesized sounds that is positively hypnotic. I really love her music and am in the process of buying all her albums. I listen to her when I'm making chocolate.

It's a bit bigger than my original TI-30slr, but it's still a good solar calculator. I use my old one all the time, and I've had it for at least a decade.

Harrods Peacock PVC Apron

Description

Mom's great for fun gifts, and this year she brought me a Harrods pvc apron from a Brittish ocean liner. You can't beat the laminated apron for easy clean-up. If you cook like I do, you could probably use a lovely apron like this one.
