"i'll totally admit to falling for the short boot trend. it is so very 80s in a way that makes me appreciate the totally awesome style sense my mum had back in the day. (she still has an awesome fashion sense, it's just a bit older now). she rocked the short pixie cut, and had a style sense that combined kenzo with yohji yamamoto. yeah, my mum totally rocks.

the other item of clothing that she carried off so well, was the short boot - and now, i wish she saved a few pairs for me, because i am totally loving them.

or, i could venture off and procure these ultra spendy, but ultimately gorgeous paul & joe short boots from shopbop.com. they come in a trio of colours, but i'd get the green ones..."

it's modern, it's sexy, but it is also leans just a bit on the side of totally comfy looking. i wouldn't change a thing. opaque, black tights and ankle boots. fantastic.

there are a few things that are a bit inexplicable when it comes to my obsession with them. handbags people get, shoes people understand, lip glosses are like second nature. but, could someone please let me know what it is with me and wallets? every year i get a new one. is it because i just haven't found the right one? maybe.

i have been using a fabulous one from matt & nat for the past little while and although it is probably one of the best i've ever used in regard to design and functionality - i guess the amount of wear and tear it gets with a girl like me just didn't give it a fighting chance. so once again i'm loooking for a stylish yet sturdy pocket book - and i think this mabel wallet from angela adams might just do the trick - pretty to look at and functional.
