So the website is long gone, but the idea lives on. I plan on doing my best to recreate these babies for my birthday party in July. Yum yum!

Hmmm!! This is the most wonderful cake mix your oven will ever see. I have had the pleasure of baking the Sprikles Red Vevelt cupcake mix to my friends and family and they didn't make it through the night.

I love baking, specially cupcakes and this is by far the best cake mix i've ever used. It's nothing like what you'll find your local supermarket. I love the recipe i have from my mom, it makes lovely light & fluffy cakes everytime, but this mix is impossible! The batter is a deep velvety red and baked evenly and beautifully. The cupcakes were nothing short of perfect, rich and delicious with the most delicate taste of chocolate.

The mix also comes with a recipe for cheesecake frosting which is attached to my fridge door. It's the perfect combination. And to top them off, this cupcake mix also comes with the signature confectioners’ red dots. The room was filled with sounds of ''mmmm''.

There's a very similar version of this making its way around ThisNext, but that particular one holds 38 cupcakes instead of this slightly smaller 23. Since I won't be having 38 people over to my house on my birthday, I figure 38 cupcakes is a bit on the overkill side of things (plus 38 cupcakes from Sprinkles would be murder on my wallet). The perfect size for the perfect party!

Snowfall Light Curtain

Lights aren't just for Christmas. These would be great behind a sheer curtain to spice up any room and give it a fun vibe. As for me? I'm putting these up behind a curtain in my room for a great conversation piece and a great source of light to read by at night!

These are also fabulous if you're throwing a super awesome party and want an upscale, but fun vibe. Lights like these were at Blair's famed masked ball on Gossip Girl behind sheer white fabric and it looked amazing. I'm definitely doing something similar for my birthday.

Footed Dessert Dish

I just spotted this on the Crate and Barrel website and I am in LOVE. Nothing says "class" quite like serving up dessert in one of these babies. An excellent alternative to the traditional disposable paper plates and only $2.50 a piece or $23.95 for 12 (but maybe for a limited time only?). I am definitely buying these to serve up dessert for my birthday party, and you better believe that it isn't going to be ordinary birthday cake.

These look absolutely delicious. Dark chocolate surrounding a fresh hand-picked raspberry? Yum. If left to my own devices, I'd eat the whole box. I'm thinking of trying to recreate these wonders for my party guests... Happy birthday, indeed!

Great for serving up drinks or food and some great times, these are pretty affordable at $1.95 each. Besides, they're adorable and will be making their debut in my life at my birthday party.
