You're Smarter Than You Think: A Kid's Guide to Multiple Intelligences
First to recommend
Description
A great book to read with your children, as it outlines in plain English, the many ways that they are smart. It's a great way to increase your late bloomer's self-esteem as together you discover that intelligence is more than memorizing spelling words and multiplication tables. This book helped my "math resistant" daughter realize that she really does like math, and that even artists can be good with numbers.
"You're Smarter Than You Think" helps you understand multiple intelligences, so you can help your child tackle any subject and succeed with any curriculum. And if you are not careful, you may learn something about your own learning style too!

Description
Hey, who couldn't use a little help with hand-eye coordination? From the moment I saw these I was hooked! Great fun for the entire family, especially fun to work the group tricks. My children have the glow in the dark lunastix, which make them a great take along for camping, picnics and parties. These are a must for littles (and not so littles) who have trouble sitting still, as the repetitive motion is surprisingly calming, dare I say "Zen?"
