Serial Killer Trading Cards

First to recommend

2 people recommended this item

Description

This is a set of 75 trading cards, in 3 different series. Each card features artwork depicting an infamous serial killer, with their bio, quotes and trivia on the backs.

I had heard of these, but had never seen any. Bad for business, I suppose. From what I have seen of the images, the artwork is appropriately creepy. (via serialkillercalendars.com)

The National Geographic Online Store - Remote-controlled Tarantulas

First to recommend

Description

These remote-controlled tarantulas may look like they've been painted the wrong colors. Believe it or not they have been made to resemble actual tarantulas from Thailand and Venezuela. Made to illicit screams of delight from children, and screams of terror from the unsuspecting adult. Each tarantula has a 7" leg span. (via shop.nationalgeographic.com)

Description

I think Angry AL is pretty funny. Not disturbing at all really. Just kind of silly, but I could see him all pissed off sitting on my couch. (via etsy.com)

Monsterosity :: Stag

First to recommend

Description

I saw this and thought, "What the...?" That may just be what you're thinking, too. Yes, it's a Stag Beetle Fighting Monster. Impressive, non? Or, would it just keel over from being too top heavy? I dunno. Kind of cool and very Japanese somehow in it's sensibilities. (via etsy.com)

SilentOrchidStudio :: Robot Monster plush

I thought that I had seen this somewhere before...

Seller's Description:

This cuddly Robot Monster plush is based on Ro-Man, the goofy alien monster from the 1950s sci-fi movie "Robot Monster." You may remember seeing it during the first season of Mystery Science Theater 3000.

He's 18 inches tall (including his antenna) and made from felt and fake fur. (via etsy.com)

morninglori :: Fern

First to recommend

Description

Okay --- totally disturbing. It appears to fly. Or at least wants to. Oh, and has piercing horns. Not good. I think the eyes are the most disturbing part for me. They look as if they actually might blink if you look away. The seller's description helped my paranoia a bit:

Fern is a Lepedia Dulcet (duhl´-sit). Dulcets are powerful musicians. Lepidias bring inspiration to all Chimians. They encourage creativity and confidence with their compelling songs.

The most frightening thing about this wee beastie is her asking price --- $58.00! (via etsy.com)
