I don't know how many years I've been completely enamored with vintage Cathrine Holm lotus bowls! I am always lusting after them in every magazine, Flickr, and home design blog photo featuring one of them. Recently I visited a local antique shop that had a huge display of one of the vendor's personal collection and I nearly cried, it was so gorgeous! So I've finally purchased my first in what will be a humble collection in time. I am so excited about my 9.5" wide lovely green bowl that will soon be the centerpiece on my dining table.

kast tall storage

Though outrageously out of my budget, I can't help be drawn back over and over again to the Kast storage units. The amazing color pallete, clean lines and perfect proportions makes you want to build an entire room with it at the center.

Here's another tableware item that I've been longing for years and years. The stainless steel Spinnaker flatware set by Nambe doesn't mess with the standard utensil top, but gives the handles a pleasing shape that is both modern and classic.

The Tac o2 stemware by Rosenthal's geometric seamlessness is modern perfection. No other set of stemware has caught my eye as something so sculptural as well as functional. Simply gorgeous.

Rosenthal Tac o2 Classic Design Dinnerware

Description

Lately I've been searching for the perfectly classic and modern white china dinnerware set. As soon as I laid eyes on the Tac o2 service by Walter Gropius for Rosenthal, I knew this was it. I love the aesthetic of its architecture-inspired straight lines and curves. It will take a while, but I will definitely be working to start a collection piece by piece.
