As a long time fan of Camilla Engman and Karin Eriksson, I obviously must gush about these absolutely darling ceramic plates (really the whole line)! They are limited editions, so I'm sure they'll be gone before you can count to 10!

Kelly Hoppen Clouds Fine Bone China

I literally would trade everything in my kitchen for a full set of Kelly Hoppen's Clouds china. I don't think I've ever felt this way about dinnerware. There is a elegance and sophistication associated in owning bone china porcelain, but Kelly Hoppen adds the touch of whimsy that I crave. Someday...

"For Converse 1HUND(RED) Artists, Engman drew upon the fabled character of Little Red Riding Hood as her primary inspiration. Engman noted, "“The artist's role in contributing to a cause is to try to help us see the cause anew, to understand it, to feel it in a visceral way." She chose the character for her pluck and bravery, her warmth and kindness, and her iconic familiarity. Indeed, the Little Red Riding Hood character appears in many of Camilla's works as a recurring motif. "“I wanted the design not to interfere too much with the shoe and to be something I would like to wear myself. The Little Red Riding Hood character has appeared in many of my paintings and drawings and probably will again. She has so many attributes that I like," she added."

Canon EOS 40D 10.1MP Digital SLR Camera

I can't speak more highly for the intuitiveness of the Canon menus and ergonomics. The digital SLR is really something even amateurs can value in that learning even some of the most basic fundamentals can enable you to take brilliant photos. Not to mention that shooting in RAW will allow those who are more adept at Photoshop to have far more options in processing. A must have for anyone with a real interest in taking their photography to the next level.

Trader Joe's Two Buck Chuck (Charles Shaw Blend Chardonnay)

Charles Shaw is an American brand of "extreme value" wine produced in California distributed exclusively by Trader Joe's grocery stores selling for a mere $1.99. Because of this, the Charles Shaw wines are affectionately known as Two Buck Chuck. Shaw's 2005 California chardonnay was judged Best Chardonnay from California at the 2007 California State Fair Commercial Wine Competition.

Half decorative element, half toy. All art! These dolls makes a whimsical menagerie perfect for adding interest, playfulness and color to any room.

The Wooden Dolls where inspired by Girard's collection of folk art. The way he painted these sculpturally abstract figures reflected design elements from Central America, Eastern Europe and Italy.

Description

Our 100-lb 37" standard television is in serious need of an upgrade. Believe it or not a screen-size increase to 42" would take up less space than the mammoth we currently own. Two people can't move the thing without seriously risking injury. But aside from that excuse, the glory of this particular television featuring this particular technology is just the way to go. Beautiful and crisp. Wouldn't you?

As a long-time Dance Dance Revolution fan right on into Wii Sports, I can get behind video games that can actually make exercise fun! Who knew? I am also hugely into Pilates and look forward to trying out Wii Yoga!

On July 11, Wii Fit was announced at Nintendo's E3 press conference. This experience builds on the active-play phenomenon started by Wii Sports. It comes with the pressure-sensitive board that measures user's actions in fun aerobic, toning and balance activities. The game calculates body mass index (BMI) and sets goals to help you lose or gain weight and reach your optimum BMI level. It includes fitness activities such as hula hooping, ski jumping, balancing and yoga among others. Coming in the first half of 2008.

I've been looking for a pair of huge DJ-like headphones to use while at work - an obvious "don't interrupt" that is a must need for this designer. Mimicing ear protection gear (something I actually have experience in wearing when I was working as an environmental scientist) in fantastically bright colors, it offers a unique, fun and functional accessory. What material items would I stand in line for out of sheer love? I'm guess I'm not too ashamed to admit that I very well would for these gorgeous and useful items that are well outside of my budget.
